Duration: 20 Days Intensive Training + 5 Months Mandatory Internship
- Students will complete approximately 43 hours of internship practice over 5 months.
Course Description
The Sports Medicine Certificate – Level 2 is a progressive development programme tailored for individuals who have completed Level 1. This course builds upon fundamental skills with intermediate methods in programming, assessment, and tool application, providing a comprehensive upgrade in professional competency.
Participants will deepen their knowledge of exercise physiology, movement prescription, and recovery strategies, while gaining intermediate proficiency in suspension training, deadball tools, barbell lifting with chains, Olympic lifts, cupping therapy, kinesiology taping (Y techniques), breathing, IASTM, and battle ropes. In addition, students will study four-week training periodisation models for strength, hypertrophy, and endurance.
Delivered through 1month of in-depth practical and theoretical education, the course includes a 5-month supervised internship at Movement & Sports Medicine Centre, where students apply what they’ve learned in a real-world setting under professional mentorship.

CKC Level 2
- Covers more advanced applications of kinetic chain exercises using kettlebells.
- Focus is on integrating CKC into functional training and foundational rehab movements.
Cupping Therapy Level 2
- Builds on foundational techniques with the addition of dynamic methods.
- Includes tugging techniques, sliding cupping applications, and cellulite-specific protocols.
- Covers muscle-specific applications and intermediate therapeutic approaches.
- Also includes cupping combined with movement and pin-and-stretch methods.
Breathing Level 2
- Introduces the use of pulse oximetry (SpO2) for tracking oxygen saturation.
- Students will learn structured breathwork routines for recovery, endurance, and performance.
- Focuses on applying breath techniques within training and therapeutic sessions.
Barbell Lifting Level 2
- Explores more advanced barbell applications including the use of chains for variable resistance.
- Students will learn how to design and teach metabolic conditioning (MetCon) workouts.
- Olympic lifts including cleans, power cleans, and snatches will be introduced with progression steps.
Stretch Therapy Level 2
- Students will learn how to facilitate PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching techniques.
- Includes teaching and programming group classes.
- Also introduces the use of sticks as tools for assisted and resisted stretching methods.
Programming Level 2 (4-Week Blocks)
Covers more complex training variables and periodisation.
Students will learn to build multi-goal programmes including:
- Strength to hypertrophy progressions
- Hypertrophy to endurance transitions
- Mixed goal structures incorporating all three adaptations
Tools Training Level 2 – Suspension Tools
- Intermediate-level suspension training includes chain-linked sequences and compound movement design.
- Students will learn to create a 4-week suspension training plan and manage tempo, load, and sequencing.
Tools Training Level 2 – Dead Ball
- Expands on Level 1 skills with the addition of dynamic bodyweight integration.
- Covers push-up variations on the dead ball and squat-to-carry transitions.
- Students will apply these in circuit or group training formats.
Kinesiology Taping Level 2
- Introduces Y-strip taping techniques.
- Covers application to support dynamic movement, improve proprioception, and reduce strain during exercise.
Battle Ropes Level 2
- Covers intermediate physiology related to power endurance and energy system demands.
- Students will design and periodise 4-week rope training programmes for different fitness outcomes.
IASTM Level 2
- Introduces intermediate techniques including pin-and-stretch protocols.
- Students will apply tools to actively mobilise tissue while performing controlled movement.
BFRT Level 2
- Builds upon basic protocols by integrating intermediate training programmes.
- Focus includes adjusting pressures for strength, hypertrophy, and rehabilitation goals.
- Students will learn to use BFRT within both personal training and recovery contexts.
Course Aim
To advance the skills and understanding of fitness and therapy professionals through intermediate-level programming, performance-based assessments, and tool application in both clinical and fitness environments.
Who This Is For
This course is designed for:
Assessment & Graduation
To ensure competency in applying intermediate-level knowledge and techniques, all students must complete a theory examination following the internship period. A 100% passing rate is required to successfully graduate and be awarded the Level 2 certification. This upholds the quality and integrity of the programme while ensuring all certified professionals meet a high standard of care and understanding.
Pathway to Level 3
Successful completion of Level 2 opens the path to Level 3 — an elite-level certification focused on specialisation, advanced protocols, performance science, and mentoring. Level 3 prepares graduates for senior roles, education delivery, and leadership within the fitness, therapy, or wellness industries.
