Lisa has been in the fitness industry well over a decade now, initially as a Les Mills instructor, she moved towards clinical pilates and is trained under Stott Pilates. She has also completed her training with polestar Pilates and became certified Gyrotonic teacher in 2005 and has been an active student since. A change of studio led her to study under Balanced Body and in 2010 she became faculty for them and regularly conducts Pilates training courses for all equipment. Not content with just Pilates as a means of correcting faulty movement pattern and dysfunction back to optimal level, she learnt under founder of the CoreAlign and became a trainer of trainers in 2011. 2014 led her to Singapore to work at The Moving Body, with a month training in the UK to become a 3rd generation Pilates teacher under the Kathy Stanford Grant methodology. She also teachers Anatomy in Clay - an an amazing hands on approach to learning the muscular system. Along the way since 2005 she’s added TrX, Bodhi suspension system, Power Plate, Gravity Training System, Trigger Point Therapy, Primal Flow and NASM and in 2016 adding Newfield (life) Coaching to her skill set.
Lisa doesn’t simply teach the ‘choreography’ but gives students deeper insights to how the body moves and how to adapt exercises to different postures. She looks forward to sharing her insights to both clinical practitoners and personal trainers. For more information on courses that she can facilitate for your facility, she can be contacted through [email protected](subject lisa)
