Dry Needling Clinic 2 (DNP)


Course description:
This it the second part of two series certification which serves a two extensive days of clinical knowledge. Here we will look into history taking, anatomical, theoretical, practical hands-on and clinical aspects of Dry Needling, in addition to safety precautions and guidelines. 
Each muscle covered is reviewed in regards with origin, insertion, neuromuscular, vascular components and safety guidelines. Safety and efficacy of treatment both are focused. We recommend participants in the course to be familiar with anatomy and muscle function, although we will provide an update on anatomy and palpation skills. Accurate and specific anatomical knowledge is the cornerstone of any physical therapy treatment.


Course Objectives:
Understand the specific indications and contra indications of dry needling.
Know and be able to apply the safety rules of DN.
Know possible side effects and complications of DN and will be able to react appropriately.
Revised their anatomy skills and Knowledge. 


Course aims:
Understand basic scientific backgrounds of myofascial trigger points. Able to identify the trunk, spine, pelvis, hip, thigh, neck, upper and lower extremity, hand and foot, shoulder muscles by surface anatomy palpation and by function and know their clinical symptoms and perpetuating factors.
Able to identify feature of trigger points by physical examination and Apply this knowledge to the trunk, spine, pelvis, hip, thigh, upper and lower extremity and shoulder Muscles.


Course Outcome:
Participants will be able to have strong clinical reasoning to using Dry Needling in conjunction of treatments available to practitioners. Provide safe and effective treatment of muscular dysfunction(s) using DN.

Pre- requirements:
Dry Needling 1

If you took a Dry Needling course with another company, you will be asked to provide the details of that course to be checked to ensure your eligibility.

Credentials earned: DNP (Dry Needling Practitioner)
Length of course: 2 days
