A little about the workshop
In this workshop, we bring you an experience of Yin Yoga you will never forget. We will break down the stages of a Yin Yoga session so you can understand exactly what is happening within your body and mind, and enable you to maximise the benefits of a Yin Yoga session.
Workshop outcome
Firstly, participants will experience and learn the effects and benefits Yin Yoga has on the body and mind, and soul. We will then get to adapt your own practise to understand the array of benefits it has to offer every individual. This will Include the power of the breath, deep positional release and stretch, a meditative practice and much more.
Participants will understand how to tap into the subconscious mind as well as experiencing different meditation techniques, to help make changes from the inside - out. Be able to grow an appreciation of the now, learn how to meditate deeper than ever (whatever your current level is) and most importantly how to apply these techniques to daily life.
Without realising many of us are constantly in a state of high alert, ’fight or flight’ mode, which over time leads to illness and pathology within the body, as our body systems aren’t able to switch into the 'rest and digest' mode for recovery. Participants will be put through engaging practical discussions and activities to learn how Yin can be used to relax, release and re-new from our stressful lifestyles and rest both the body, mind, and soul.

Why our Yin Yoga workshop
With backgrounds and experiences in both the eastern and western world, as well as studies in Osteopathy, Exercise Science, Teaching methodologies and many branches of Movement, Yoga, and Meditation, our workshop discusses Yin Yoga on all levels of effects and angles to help every individual understand themselves in body and mind. Allowing participants to explore being in the moment and understand the 'inner experiences of the mind' at personal levels, and further develop a higher awareness/ consciousness. With the ambassadors of Yin Yoga International facilitating the session, having trained in the heart of yoga itself, Rishikesh; you can be assured of nothing but the most conducive learning experience. In this workshop, you will experience the Yin and Yang from the teachers and within yourselves as an individual and the class.
