Is Stretch Therapy high risk?
When you attend our Functional stretching course, you will sit for classes that discuss fitness level, what type of stretches to do for certain goal, conditions, & contraindications. Students will also be learning on the human body, & how to manage problem areas such as the hips, lumbar spine, & the very sensitive cervical spine. While most training are through & done in 5 days, the course goes on for 7-8weeks to learn a lot more on why stretch therapy is part of sports medicine
Can i watch youtube or online videos?
While watching online video, not everyone have the same refined tactile touch to feel what exactly you are supposed to feel while trying to improve someone's flexibility, & range of motion in the joint. Just like watching a workout tutorials for any course, you will not know exactly what you're doing wrong or how to improve on tactile perception.
Where will the course/classes take place?
During the stretching course, everyone will be having their classes at the sports medicine partnered studios, stretching real clients. You may be part of the sports medicine team that has taken the course, & now practising at the centre, with different level of experiences, & adapted technique modifications.
