F.S.T - Functional Stretch Therapy- Module 1 | Jan 25-26 | SG | 2025
Course Description: In this module, students will be introduced to the foundational principles of Functional Stretch Therapy (F.S.T), focusing on the lower body. They will learn various functional testing methods to assess range of motion (ROM) & posture. Detailed anatomy of the hips, hamstrings, & calves will be covered, alongside techniques for systemic release, including lymphatic & nervous system involvement. Students will master different stretching techniques such as traction, compression, & oscillation, & understand the science behind stretching protocols. Additionally, this module includes foundational tests for assessing specific lower body functions.
Outcome: By the end of this module, students will be proficient in performing & interpreting lower body functional tests, applying systemic release techniques, & executing effective stretching protocols. They will have a thorough understanding of lower body anatomy & be able to address common mobility issues in the hips, hamstrings, & calves.
